30 profiteers held

PESHAWAR: Rationing Controller cum Special Magistrate Rashid Jamal Thursday conducted raids in various bazaars and markets in the provincial capital and held 30 profiteers and hoarders red handed for overcharging.

The Magistrate accompanied by Food Inspectors Angoor Shah Khan and Khalid Khan conducted raids in Kabli Bazaar, Qissa Khwani, Hashtnagri, Khyber Bazaar and Hayatabad and apprehended milk sellers, owners of grocery shops, bakers, dry fruit and vegetables sellers for overcharging.

The raiding team also conducted samples from some shops and sent to the laboratory for test. (APP)
