  • A woman in Michigan won $500,000 from a scratch-off ticket she chose for its colour.
  • She said she did not play the game as such.
  • She chose to remain anonymous and plans on saving the money.

MICHIGAN: A 34-year-old woman from Branch Country, Michigan, picked a scratch-off ticket for its colour and ended up winning $500,000, UPI reported.

She told lottery officials that she did not play Wild Time Supreme as such but just liked the color of the ticket so she bought two of them.

The winning ticket was pink, purple, and silver in colour.

"When I scratched the ticket and saw what I'd won, I was completely shocked. I still am!" the woman said.

She added that she needed the cash and it felt like a blessing. The lucky woman plans to save this money and remain anonymous.

Wild Time Supreme was launched in June and players have won more than $37 million in total.
