Eight butchers held for overcharging

PESHAWAR: District administration on Monday arrested eight butchers for overcharging and non availability of steel nets on their shops.

After receiving complaints ACO Syed Zafar Ali Shah raided the markets and bazaars on Bara road and Pishtakhara road and sent the profiteers to jail.

Meanwhile DCO Siraj Ahmed Khan has urged the people to help and assist the officials in nabbing the hoarders and profiteers. He also directed the district administration to continue crackdown against the hoarders.
