Federal Minister for Education Shafqat Mahmood on Thursday clarified his role and position over the matter of Central Superior Service (CSS) examination in the country.

The education minister, in a tweet, categorically said that he and his ministry have nothing to do with the CSS examination in the country.

"It is clarified that the Ministry of Education or I personally have nothing to do with CSS exam content or date," Mahmood said.

Mahmood further added that all the matters related to CSS come under the domain of the federal public service commission (FPSC) — as it is the only concerning authority related to the competitive examination.

“All issues concerning CSS are the domain of the federal public service commission FPSC,” he added.
