  • Psychologists study Vladimir Putin.
  • Experts fit him in the psychopathic profile.
  • Putin seems unbothered by critics' comments.

Several psychologists and critics have observed Russian president Vladimir Putin and commented about his ‘psychopathic’ personality, NDTV reported.

His unpredictable decisions like invading Crimea and now reasserting power in Ukraine where he claims to ‘denazify’ the country has compelled experts to study him and create a profile.

He has become the longest-serving Russian leader since dictator Joseph Stalin, who died in 1953.

Putin has been previously compared with leaders like Adolf Hitler and Saddam Hussein. These are also the personalities that have intrigued experts in the field of Psychology.

"I think he's pragmatic, he's ruthless.” An expert said to CBS News. “Putin abhors weakness,” the psychiatrist added saying that him feeling weakened or humiliated can lead to more problems in the long run.

Javier Urra, a forensic psychologist told Marca, “He has a reptilian look, which is a key to the psychopathic profile."

"It (Putin's personality) reminds you of a child who knows that he is not loved and that people fear him, hence why we also see all those images of him without a shirt or playing sport," he added.

According to Jerusalem Post, Putin had been aggressive since childhood and channelled that energy into sports.

He, however, does not seem bothered by any comments and continues his war in Ukraine while the world observes all of his moves.
