  • Apple might be working on new subscription program for hardware.
  • This may make it easier to afford iPhone.
  • The project is in its initial stages.

Apple is reportedly working on a new subscription programme for its hardware, reported Ubergizmo.

This decision can make owning an iPhone easier than before.

With this development, customers will not have to pay the full price of the phone or commit to a carrier contract. Apple will allow customers to own an iPhone by subscribing to a programme.

The project is developing, however, and it is too soon to make further comments.

If Apple implements this plan, it could become a revenue generator by bolting customers into the iPhone ecosystem and their services for a longer period of time.

It could also attract customers who were previously not buying the phone due to its price.
