Cricket: South Africa to host India in T20 match
JOHANNESBURG: South Africa will host India in a one-off Twenty20 international at the Wanderers stadium here on March 30, the national cricket association announced Monday.

It said President Jacob Zuma attended a T20 match between the countries in Durban last year, which India won, and called for the fixture to become an annual event.

"The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has given us an assurance that they will be sending their strongest available team," association chief executive Gerald Majola said.

While the Durban match honoured retired South Africa fast bowler Makhaya Ntini, the floodlit Johannesburg match will celebrate veteran all-rounder Jacques Kallis. (AFP)
