Askari-3 incident: Killer arrested

KARACHI: Police have arrested the killer of five members of a family who were killed in a house located near Askari-3, SSP Crime Branch Farooq Awan said on Tuesday.

Awan said the accused Israr, the former driver of the family, had confessed to committing the crime and said that he acted in revenge.

The police on February 29 found bodies of five members of a family including three females from a flat in Askari -3 in the limits of Saddar police station.

The deceased persons were identified as Arif Yousuf, 68, son of Yousuf Jalia, his wife, Zainab, 60, his son Zubair, 38, daughter-in-law Aliya and a grand daughter Rida, 14.
