Mujahid squad arrests 341 criminals in Feb

LAHORE: Mujahid Squad claimed to have arrested 341 criminals and registered 248 cases against them during crackdown against proclaimed offenders, robbers and other outlaws involved in heinous crimes in February last.

During crackdown against illegal weapons holders, the force registered 78 cases against the accused and recovered three pump actions/rifles, 69 pistols and hundreds of rounds, spokesman Mujahid Squad said on Wednesday.

Mujahid Squad registered 143 cases against drug pushers and seized a huge quantity of narcotics including 8 Kg hashish, one kg heroin and 405 bottles of liquor from them.

The force also arrested 24 proclaimed offenders and 29 court absconders during the same period.

SP Mujahid directed the officials to take immediate action when they receive 15 call. (APP)
