Three arrested on corruption charges
FAISALABAD: Three government employees were arrested and sent behind bars on charge of corruption, abusing powers and taking gratification.

According to details, Abdul Majeed of Dhuddiwala in his complaint moved before Anti Corruption Establishment (ACE) contended that Muhammad Ali, a driver of Revenue Department, had received bribe of Rs 25,000 for an official work.

During preliminary investigation, the allegations were proved. Hence Circle Officer Anti Corruption Muhammad Azeem Warriach conducted raid and arrested the said driver.

Meanwhile, Circle Officer Muhammad Azeem arrested Muhammad Yousuf Copy Righter and Muhammad Ali Ahalmad of Session Court on charge of fraud when the Additional District and Session Judge moved a complaint to the ACE.

Further investigation in this regard is under progress. (APP)
