FAISALABAD: A three-day anti-polio campaign started in Faisalabad here on Monday.
According to a spokesman of the health department, more than 1.177 million children up to the age of 5 years would be administered polio vaccine in the district.
About 2,745 teams of the health department are taking part in the campaign. Out of them, 2,226 mobile teams are paying door-to-door visits for administering drops to children.
Static and transit teams were also deployed at public places including bus stands, railway stations, shopping centers so that no child was left out, he added. (APP)
