Dacoits kill policeman

SHIKARPUR: A policeman was killed by dacoits while another received bullet injuries on Monday night near Abdaal Shaakh on Shikarpur- Jacobabad road in the jurisdiction of Sultankot police station.

According to reports, DPO Gawadar, Balochistan was traveling with his family members from Karachi to Jafferabad Balochistan with a police escort. A gang of unidentified armed dacoits opened fire on the police van.

As a result, a police constable, Atta Muhammad was killed, while another policeman Abdul Sattar Bangulzai was seriously injured.

The injured was shifted to Civil Hospital Shikarpur for treatment.
