A woman in the United States allegedly threatened to blow up her son's school as she believed he was not being properly fed by the cafeteria, NDTV reported.

The police have identified the woman as Anaya Metoya Smith. She has been charged with false reports of bombing and disruption of educational institutions.

Smith allegedly sent a voicemail to the school saying,  “if you don't start feeding my ... children better ... I'm gonna come round ... and blow that mother ... up.”

Someone from the staff called the police after hearing the voicemail. The entire school was evacuated as a result and the premises were searched.

Smith had not mentioned her name in the voicemail, however, the school was able to track the number and find it in the school records listed as her number.

Reportedly, the son had previously gotten into an argument with a cafeteria worker asking for "extra food”.

The accused's sister claims that she is being falsely accused and that the documentation has been messed up by the school. A police officer said that after numerous interactions with Smith, he identified her voice on the voicemail.
