Cristiano Ronaldo posts adorable image with newborn baby girl

Cristiano Ronaldo shared a picture with his newborn daughter less than two weeks after announcing the loss of his newborn son. 

The Portuguese footballer and his partner Georgina Rodriguez welcomed their twins — a boy and a girl — this month. However, the couple faced the tragic loss of their baby boy. 

Taking to Instagram on Saturday, Ronaldo shared a shirtless black and white picture, holding his daughter in his arms. 

"Forever love," the footballer captioned the picture along with a heart emoji. 

Soon after he posted the picture, his followers started showering it with love. 

"Family is everything brother," said one of the users. 

"I hope your child is always healthy," another user made a prayer.

One of the users said: "This is so beautiful."

Earlier, the 37-year-old and his partner took to Instagram to announce the tragedy their family went through.

"It is with our deepest sadness we have to announce that our baby boy has passed away. It is the greatest pain that any parents can feel," the joint statement read. "Only the birth of our baby girl gives us the strength to live this moment with some hope and happiness," wrote the couple.
