What interesting feature is Whatsapp working on for users?

Meta-owned messaging app WhatsApp is working on another new status feature for its users, WABetaInfo reported Saturday.

According to the Whatsapp news tracker, the social media platform is rolling out a feature for users to view the status updates within their chat list.

Just like Instagram, the users will be able to check the status updates of the contact list within their private chats.

The picture shows the user's chat and the published status which can be seen within the chat list or if the user searches for the messages or chats. 

Whatsapp will allow the users to see the status update if they click on the user's profile picture as shown in the screenshot. 

"As always, note that even if the screenshot is taken from a future build of WhatsApp Desktop, the same feature will also be available in a future update of WhatsApp beta for Android and iOS," according to WABetaInfo.

However, it is unknown when the feature will be released as it is still under development.
