QUETTA: An old man, father of the victim taxi driver who was killed by kidnappers, demanded of the government to ensure arrest of gang leaders of the criminals.

Addressing a news conference at the Quetta Press Club here on Friday, Haji Abdul Majeed Bungulzai said that few days back, a gang of criminals posing themselves passengers hired the taxi car of his son Khudaay Raheem Bungulzai and asked him to proceed to Dhadar area.

The so-called passengers got recorded their names at the taxi stand register as Raib Jatoi, Abdul Salam, Rehm Ali, the son of Haider Khan, and fourth also recorded his name as Rehm Ali, the son of Sanwal Khan while fifth Rasool Bakhsh.

When they reached Bolan Katchi area, they made my son hostage on gunpoint and made phone calls to my family members for payment of Rs 2 million ransom, he said adding that when we could not pay ransom money, they tortured to death his son and threw his body in mountainous area.

He said that although Levies Force and law enforcement agency had arrested 13 kidnappers so far adding that however, the ring leader Raib and his two accomplices including Rasool Bakhsh and Raheem Ali were still at large. He demanded for their arrest.
