CM opens Pakistan Day Balochistan Mela

QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minsiter Nawab Aslam Raisani opened three-day Balochistan mela at Askari Park here Friday.

The mela has been organsied by Pakistan Army and provincial government jointly.

Commander Southern Command Lt General Muhammad Alam Khattak received Chief Minister. Some Provincial Ministers accompanied Chief Minsiter.

Provincial Secretaries, Commissioner Quetta Division, Police officers and others were also present.

Students from different schools, people in large numbers were also present on the occasion.

On this occasion colourful programmes were presented. Special Children sung national songs, folk dances of all the four provinces of Pakistan, Gilgit Baltistan, martial arts, military bands.

A smartly turned out contingent of Pakistan Army presented salute.

Chief Minister visited stalls of education, Directorate of public relations, social welfare, health and others and showed keen interest at the items place on display. (PPI)
