PML-N to hold nationwide protests against loadshedding
ISLAMABAD: The PML-N has announced its protest schedule against loadshedding and the increase in electricity bills.

Protests will be held in Karachi, Lahore, Quetta and Peshawar on March 31, according to the party’s secretary general Iqbal Zafar Jhagra.

On April 2, protests will be held in Abbottabad, Sialkot, Sahiwal and Hyderabad.

Protests will be held in Multan, Kasur, Sheikhapura and D.I.Khan on April 3.

On April 4, protests will be held in Rawalpindi, Bahawalpur, Karak and Sargodha. While in D.G.Khan, Gujrat and Okara protests will be held on April 5.

Earlier Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif said that the federal government was treating Punjab like a step-mother.

Sharif stressed that his party would support traders in their protests as loadshedding was leading people losing their jobs.

Meanwhile protests continued in Lahore and Faisalabad on Monday. In Lahore one person was killed by a guard at a petrol station after protestors had set fire to it.
