Gang of dacoit busted; 34 wine bottles, weapons recovered
ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Police have arrested 11 outlaws from various areas of the city and recovered 34 wine bottles, four 30 bore pistols, one dagger and looted items worth Rs 1,80,000 from their possession, police said on Tuesday.

On a tip off Shehzad town police raided at the hideout of dacoits and arrested four persons in possession of three 30 bore pistol and one dagger from their possession.

The nabbed dacoits were identified as Asar Ali s/o Nazir Hussain, Waqar Hussain s/o Naseer Hussain, Shujaat Hussain s/o Makhdoom Hussain, Qadeer s/o Banaras and they confessed to commit several dacoities in various areas of the city.

Shalimar police nabbed two thieves Abdul Aleem and Saleem besides recovering stolen items worth Rs 1,80,000 from them.

Aabpara police apprehended a bottlegger Azeem and recovered 25 wine bottles from him while an accused Khuram Shehzad was arrested for having one wine bottle by Margallah police.

Margallah police apprehended a thief Arsalan in possession of stolen items and one 30 bore pistol while another bootlegger Sajid Khan was arrested by ASI Aurangzeb from Sihala police for having eight wine bottles.

Cases have been registered against these nabbed persons and further investigation is underway from them.
