Mujahid Squad arrest 208 criminals in March

LAHORE: Mujahid Squad arrested 208 accused and registered 178 cases against them in a crackdown against proclaimed offenders, dacoits, robbers and other outlaws in the last month.

During crackdown against illegal weapons, the force registered 36 cases against the accused and recovered 31 pistols,three pump action and hundreds of rounds, a spokesman of Mujahid Squad said on Thursday.

Mujahid Squad registered 123 cases against drug pushers and seized a huge quantity of narcotics, including 13 Kg hashish, two kg heroin and 112 bottles of liquor.

The force arrested 14 proclaimed offenders and eight court absconders during the same period.
