A statement on Monday said that those arrested included absconders and proclaimed offenders.
During the period the police claimed that three gangs of criminals were busted and that six encounters with the alleged criminals took place.
As many as 17 pistols, two daggers and three mobile phones were also recovered from the possession of the accused.
The police have registered cases against the accused and started investigation.
