25 lawbreakers arrested

RAWALPINDI: Rawalpindi Police on Saturday claimed to have arrested 25 lawbreakers including, one drunkard, four suspected dacoits and five men and women allegedly involved in immoral activities.

According to a police spokesman, 1995 grams charas, 32 bottles of liquor, seven pistol 30 bor with 33 rounds, one kalashnikov with 10 rounds and Rs 1070 stake money was also recovered from from the arrested accused.

The spokesman said acting on a tip-off Airport Police conducted a raid at Bakra Chowk and arrested four suspected dacoits namely Ali, Ibrar, Toqeer and Amir Hamza who were planning to commit a dacoity and recovered three pistols with 16 rounds and one dagger from their them.

Meanwhile, in a raid conducted at a brothel house, Peerwadhai Police arrested five accused namely Kabeer, Mudaser, Ramzan, Samia and Saeeda.
