LAHORE: Lahore police have arrested a swindler for showing himself a secretary to the Punjab Chief Minister.
The accused, Samiullah Nayyar, had telephoned officers of various departments including police, education and agriculture for various purposes.
The accused asked Managing Director Seed Corporation Altaf Azid Khan for transfer of an officer deputed in Raheem Yar Khan. To which, the MD telephoned the CM secretariat for verification. "No officer of accused's name is present in the CM secretariat staff", the CM staff told him.
The MD Seed Corporation informed Mozang police which arrested the accused.
The accused is resident of Vehari and working as a driver in Karachi. (APP)
