Five gunned down in Karachi

KARACHI: Five persons including a woman were killed in Karachi while four others were wounded in separate firing incidents in the metropolis, Geo News reported Monday.

According to police, unknown gunmen killed a man, Farid Shah in Nazimabad and a security guard, Raza Mohammad in Rizvia Society today. A woman named Kainat was also killed when gunmen opened fire on a car in PIB Colony.

Earlier, a body of a man was found in gunny bag from Kharadar area near KESC office who was murdered after being kidnapped. Another body, who was identified as Shafiullah aged 53, was found from Zia Colony who was gunned down due to personal enmity, police told.

Two persons were wounded in firing incident at Abul Hassan Isfahani Road who were shifted to Abbasi Shaeed Hospital for first aid, rescue sources told.

Two men were also injured in separate firing incidents in Baldia Town and Orangi Town.
