MQM hits back at PTI, files FIR application against Imran
KARACHI: The Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) in the early hours of Wednesday submitted an application to lodge a case against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan for allegedly using offensive language against Army generals.

The decision came soon after an application was filed at Darakhshan Police Station here by PTI leaders Ali Zaidi and Faisal Vawda against MQM chief Altaf Hussain.

Speaking to the media after filing the FIR application, MQM leader Ali Raza Abidi said video record of Imran Khan allegedly using offensive language against Pakistan Army generals has also been submitted at the police station.

He said a befitting response to the PTI has already been given in the NA-246 by-poll in Karachi.

“This is the same party that wanted to open an office for Taliban in the country,” said Abidi.

“Imran Khan has repeatedly used inappropriate language against Army generals declaring them cowards... a case must be lodged against him for doing so,” he added.
