10 outlaws arrested

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Police have arrested 10 outlaws including four dacoits, drug pusher and recovered four pistols, 1.130 kilogram hashish, three wine bottles and 40 cans of beer from their possession, a police spokesman said on Tuesday.

On a tip off, SP (Rural) Faisal Bashir Memon constituted special team headed by Station House Officer of Koral police station Inspector Mehboob Hussain raided at the hideout of dacoits and nabbed four persons when they were planning to commit dacoity. The dacoits nabbed red-handed were identified as Gulfam, Tabasam, Javed, Abrar and police recovered pistols and several bullets from their possession while an accused Zeeshan was arrested for having four three wine bottles.

Meanwhile, Sub-Inspector Hakim Khan arrested a drug pusher Aftab alias Babu during patrolling in the area for having 1.130 kilogram hashish.

ASI Javed Iqbal from Shalimar police arrested Altaf Jazbi for having 40 cans of beer while ASI Khan Baig from Bani Gala police nabbed an accused Wahadat Hussain for possessing 30 bore pistol. Ramna police apprehended Faraz Ahmed for involvement in aerial firing while Sub-Inspector Tariq Pervez from Shehzad town police arrested Akbar Ali Khan in possession of 30 bore pistol.

Cases have been registered against these nabbed persons and further investigation is underway from them.
