ISLAMABAD: Pakistan's Foreign Office summoned Indian High Commissioner, Dr. T. C. A. Raghavan on Thursday and registered a strong protest with him over violation of Pakistani airspace by an Indian drone.
Foreign Secretary, Aizaz Ahmad Chaudhry said that India should respect and abide by all bilateral agreements.
He added that India should ensure no such violations are repeated again.
A day earlier, Pakistan military shot down an Indian spy drone along the Line of Control (LoC), according to Inter Services Public Relations.
The spy drone, used for photography, was downed in Bhimber area near LoC after it intruded in Pakistani territory, the ISPR said.
A protest was also lodged for the overnight unprovoked ceasefire violation by Indian BSF at LoC and Working Boundary which resulted in the martyrdom of four civilians including an 18 year old girl.
The Indian High Commissioner assured to convey the message to his authorities.
