100 Kg hashish recovered from car

NOWSHERA: Nowshera Kalan police on Saturday foiled a narcotics smuggling attempt and recovered 100 Kg hashish from a car on G.T.Road near Mardan interchange.

According to DPO Nowshera, Muhammad Hussain Khan, on a tip-off a police team under the headship of SHO Nowshera Kalan was constituted to foil a narcotics smuggling attempt.

The team intercepted a suspicious car on G.T.Road near Shahgul Baba Arat, however, the driver escaped leaving the car in main bazaar. Police when searched the car, recovered 100Kg hashish from its secret cavities.

Police took the car and narcotics into custody and registered a case.

DPO Nowshera announced special prize and commendation certificate for SHO Nowshera Kalan.
