ISLAMABAD: Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has raised the price of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) by Rs 1.29 per kilogram across the country, effective from July 16 for the next fortnight.
According to the OGRA notification, the new rate of CNG has been fixed at Rs 78.65 in Region-1 covering Potohar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan.
In Region 2 (Punjab and Sindh) the rate of the commodity has been jacked up to Rs 71.92 per kg.
The revision in CNG price has been made under the government's policy to review CNG/POL rates on fortnightly basis.
