ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Police have arrested 12 alleged outlaws including eight proclaimed offenders and recovered 2.400 kilogram hashish, 12 wine bottles and weapon from their possession, a police spokesman said on Wednesday.
During campaign against absconders, Sihala police team arrested two proclaimed offenders Pervez Yousuf and Mushtaq Waseem while Faisal Khan was arrested in possession of 30 bore pistol.
Likewise, Sihala police apprehended two court absconders Mateen Khan and Bahadur Khan.
Shalimar, Kohsar and Bhara Kau police stations also nabbed four proclaimed offenders. Sabzi Mandi police arrested two alleged drug pushers Sahfi, Abdul Hadi and recovered 2.400 gram hashish from them.
CIA police arrested a bootlegger Adnan and recovered 12 wine bottles from him.
Cases have been registered against these nabbed persons and further investigation is underway from them. (APP)
