WATCH: Iftikhar Ahmed gives Eidi to fellow cricketers

Everyone gets excited about new clothes, and meeting with friends and family during Eid ul Fitr, but another thing that increases the level of excitement is Eidi. 

Pakistani batter Iftikhar Ahmed brought smiles to the team players by handing over Eidi envelopes one by one as they wait for their turn.  

"Eidi extravaganza with @IftiMania as he spreads joy among his Pakistan teammates," wrote the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and posted a video on Twitter. 

The video shows Iftikhar entering the dressing room along with envelopes in his hand and all the players surrounding him to receive Eidi. 

All-rounder Shadab Khan then opens the envelope and shows a Rs500 note to the camera. Later, Faheem Ashraf — who had already received an envelope from Iftikhar — takes another one from the batter and then shows both of them to the camera with a big smile on his face. 

All the players then hug each other and exchange greetings.
