LDA officers get promotions, postings

LAHORE: Director General Lahore Development Authority Ahad Khan Cheema has ordered postings, transfers and promotions of the officers of various cadres.

According to the sources in LDA, Rana Usman Anver, awaiting posting Admn, has been posted as Director Estate Management II vice Tanvir Bashir Warriach who has been directed to report to Directorate of Administration. Assistant Director (General Cadre) Juniad Ahmad has been transferred from Directorate of Land Development-I to Directorate of Land Development-II.

Meanwhile, Director Administration LDA Khalid Pervaiz has issued separate notices of personal appearance to three LDA officials on account of their unauthorized absence from duty.

These officials include Mehmood Aalam, Driver, Akhter Abbas Junior Clerk and Muhammad Sharif, Junior Clerk.They had been proceeded against under Punjab employees Efficiency, Discipline and Accountability Act 2006. They have now been given the final opportunity and directed to appear before the competent authority, director administration, LDA, within seven days along with written defense.

Consequent upon recommendations of the LDA's Promotion Committee, 14 Senior Clerks of (BS-09) have been promoted to the rank of Assistant (BS-14). They include Falak Sher, Rana Jahandad, Sarfraz Ahmed Siddiqui, Syed Shabbir Hussain, Muhammad Nawaz, Nasar Saeed, Muhammad Irfan, Muhammad Hussain, Muhammad Ramzan, Muhammad Mansha, Muhammad Sarwar, Muhammad Bukhsh, Munir Hussain and Muhamamd Shafi.
