Violence claims four lives in Karachi
KARACHI: At least two people were shot dead and two bodies with torture marks were found from different parts of Karachi on Saturday morning.

Muhammad Shafiq, 45, son of Muhammad Rafique, was gunned down near KDA intersection, North Karachi. He sustained multiple gunshots on the upper parts of body and died on the spot. He was resident of same area.

His body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for legal formalities.

Meanwhile, unidentified person, about 45 years of age, was gunned down in shoe market in the limits of Risala Police Station. Identity of deceased was not ascertained till the filing of this report.

The body was shifted to Civil Hospital for medico-legal formalities.

Separately, a body of one Serat, 45, with torture marks, was recovered from Lyari River, Golimar area near Kashmir intersection.

The body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for legal formalities.

Another body of an unidentified person, who seems 30 years of age, was recovered near shrine of Saint Feroz Baba in the limits of Manghopir Police Station.

The body having torture marks was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for legal formalities. (PPI)
