Scattered rain likely in parts of country

LAHORE: Scattered thunderstorm/rain is expected over southeast Sindh, Kashmir, north and northeast Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit Baltistan during next 24 hours.

Menawhile, isolated/rain is likely over northeast Balochistan, south Punjab and upper Sindh, stated Met report on Wednesday.

The monsoon low over eastern Sindh persists and has become insignificant. However, monsoon current is penetrating into upper parts of the country upto 4000 feet.

River Indus at Guddu is at Low Flood Level and all the other major rivers are flowing in the state of normal flow.
