ISLAMABAD: Islamabad police have arrested 22 outlaws from various areas of the city and recovered six pistols, one Kalashnikov from their possession, police said on Thursday.
According to details, Golra police nabbed three accused namely Shahid Ameen, Sajjad Khan and Iftikhar Hussain and recovered one Kalashnikov, two pistols and 27 rounds from their possession.
Bani Gala police arrested Tahir Mehmd and recovered 9 MM pistol and Nilore police apprehended Aamir for having 30 bore pistol.
Shehzad town police arrested Rifat Mehmud and Yasir Abbssi for possessing two 30 bore pistol and 15 rounds.
On a tip off, Indsutrial police raided in various localities in sector I-8/4 and arrested six persons including two women for their alleged involvement in immoral activities.
The nabbed persons have been identified as Kamran Mehdi, Shujaat, Hadi, Zafar Ali Naqvi, Azra and Ghazala. Sub-Inspector Muhammad Riaz arrested Alan, Shumaila, Josphen Masih, Kiran, Samrren, Atifa, Sana, Nisha, Saba and Joing for also their alleged involvement in immoral activities.
Cases have been registered against these nabbed persons and further investigation is underway.
