DALLAS: A prominent Pakistani American community leader, a businessman and a former President of Pakistan Society of North Texas Mansoor Shah was killed last night by unknown assailants.
According to details, when police discovered Mr. Shah’s body, they informed his family. However, the killers of Mr. Shah are yet to be uncovered or if he had committed a suicide?
Shah’s family members and friends say that Mr. Shah had called his wife at around 2:30 AM last night as he was going to deposit cash drop with a local bank branch and he will return back home after the cash drop. That was his last communication with his family.
Mansfield police discovered him lying dead in his car later. His body is still in police custody, where an autopsy will be performed. The cause of death will be determined after the post Mortem.
The funeral of Mr. Shah will be offered tomorrow at Momin center of Irving after getting the custody of his body from police. He will be buried in the local Muslim graveyard in Arlington.
Late Mr. Mansoor Shah came to US as a student 28 years ago, and spent his early part as a student. Later he established his own business and in few years became one of leading entrepreneur of Dallas. He started participating in community leadership and soon acquired position of community leader. He was known as leading a circle of community leaders and was known for his patronage of new leadership.
Mr. Shah earned respect for his community work and his good humor. He was a popular community activist and a dear friend to many. His assassination news has spread through the city as wildfire and people are in state of shock on this sad news.
Mr. Shah has left his spouse, two sons and two daughters behind him. He has one of his brothers in Dallas and one live in Islamabad. Pakistani American leadership has expressed shock and sorrow on the sad demise of Mansoor Shah and is praying for a good place for the departed soul.
