ISLAMABAD: The Capital Police have arrested 20 outlaws from various areas of the city and recovered 3.285 kilogram hashish, 650 bottles of wine, a cache of weapons and looted items from their possession, a police spokesman said on Friday.
On a tip off, Crime Investigation Agency team nabbed five bootleggers identified as Faisal, Mushtaq, Gulfaraz, Arshad, Waseem, Naeem and recovered 650 bottles of from them.
Golra police arrested Adnan with 3.75 kilogram hashish while Secretariat police apprehended Ali Imran for possessing 210 gram hashish.
Margallah police arrested Babar Hussain for having a 30-bore pistol and Ramana police nabbed a thief Jameel, besides recovering stolen valuables from them.
Sabzi Mandi police arrested Azeem, Nawaz and Ahsan for having stolen valuables and a 32-bore pistol.
Koral police nabbed Nasir Mehmud, Safeer Hussain and Arif Haroon for possessing two pistols and a Kalashnikov.
Bani Gala police arrested Haroon, Shehzad and Rab Nawaz and recovered stolen animals from them.
Shehzad Town police nabbed Sheeraz and Ramadan for having two 30-bore pistols. (APP)
