KARACHI: Pakistan All Stars XI has set a daunting 223 for the International Stars to win.
Winning the toss and electing to bat first the Pakistan All Stars XI never looked in trouble as all their batsmen played aggressively posting a huge first innings total. Shazaib Hasan scored a hard hitting 54 with 6 fours and 4 sixes, while Umer Akmal hit 7 fours and 3 sixes on his way to an unbeaten 67. Imran Nazir with 29 was the other useful contributor.
The International World XI looked rusty with quite a few dropped catches and some wayward bowling. However MS Tshabalala bowled well to get 3-20. Shapoor Zardan 2-38 and Nel and J.Lawson bagged a wicket a piece for 44 and 28 runs respectively.
