Lesco teams to redress power problems during Eid holidays

LAHORE: Lahore Electric Supply Company (Lesco) has constituted special mobile teams to ensure smooth and uninterrupted flow of power supply during Eid holidays.

Superintending Engineer, Salamar Circile Lesco Muhammad Nasim told APP here Thursday that all Xens and SDOs have been directed to deploy special staff on Eid holidays at sub-divisions level to check promptly to any power failure complaints.

Field officers too have been directed to remain available at their posts during the holidays for this purpose and no-one will be allowed to leave their station without prior approval, he added.

He said Director Store and Director Workshop have also been requested to make arrangements to provide new transformers in case of any emergency and repair transformers damaged due to kite flying or overloading during Eid festivities.
