BRISBANE: Skipper Michael Clarke declared Australia's first innings at 565 for five, leading South Africa by 115 runs, early on the final day of the first Test at the Gabba on Tuesday.
Clarke was unbeaten on 259 with wicketkeeper Matthew Wade on 19 at the time of the declaration.
