In a shocking twist to the ongoing saga surrounding sex-offender American financier Jeffrey Epstein, unsealed documents reveal that the convicted paedophile had asked his accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell to bribe those who could potentially "disprove" an explosive allegation involving renowned physicist Stephen Hawking, The Sun (US) reported.

According to bombshell documents, Epstein, in a 2015 email, directed Maxwell to "issue a reward" to anyone connected to Virginia Giuffre, a key accuser of Prince Andrew.

The incentive was intended to encourage individuals to come forward and contradict Giuffre's claims, particularly those related to Hawking and former US President Bill Clinton.

The email outlined Epstein's focus on disproving allegations surrounding a supposed "underage orgy" involving Hawking during an event in the Virgin Islands.

The message read, "The strongest is the Clinton dinner, and the new version in the Virgin Islands that Stephen Hawking participated in an underage orgy."

In 2015, photographs surfaced showing Hawking, who passed away in 2018 at the age of 76, being hosted on Epstein's private Caribbean island.

The images depicted the acclaimed physicist at a barbecue on Little St James, colloquially known as Epstein's "Paedo Island." The gathering was part of a conference funded by Epstein and attended by 21 scientists, including Hawking.

The unsealed documents further implicated several celebrities and politicians, with Hawking's name being among those disclosed.

The revelations shed light on the intricate web of connections involving high-profile figures in Epstein's orbit.

Adding another layer to the scandal, Johanna Sjoberg, who has accused Prince Andrew of inappropriate behaviour, claimed in a deposition that she met Michael Jackson at Epstein's Palm Beach residence.

The unfolding revelations continue to captivate public attention, exposing the extent of Epstein's influence and the alleged misdeeds of those associated with him.
