Gas pressure irks consumers

LAHORE: Domestic consumers of various localities in the city faced problems due to low gas pressure on Thursday.

People complained that gas pressure had been dropped from 6am to 10am in the morning which had become a regular feature since advent of winter season.

"Winter does not bring joy to us as we are unable to enjoy hot food due to low pressure of gas," said Nagina Begum, a house wife. "I use LPG as gas alternative but this is to much expensive and not affordable," she added.

Zunaira said she faced troubles while preparing food for her school-going children.

A highly placed official of SNGPL on contact denied reports of gas outages and low pressure. He, however, said there were seldom complaints of low pressure but the situation was not so tense.
