Al-Nassr's Cristiano Ronaldo missed his long-time partner Georgina Rodriguez's 30th birthday in the Maldives as he was 2,300 miles away in Saudi Arabia, Goal reported.
Rodriguez officially turned the big 3-0 on January 27 and shared pictures from her beachy getaway on Instagram revealing that she took a private jet to the island in the north-central Indian Ocean to celebrate with luxury.
However, the model and businesswoman's soccer boo, Ronaldo, was forced to stay back in the Middle East after seeing Al-Nassr cancel a two-game tour of China.
Those fixtures were postponed as the five-time Ballon d’Or winner has picked up an untimely injury and would have been unable to feature in the games.
However, the Portuguese superstar joined Rodriguez on her special evening via FaceTime with their daughter, Bella Esmeralda, whom the couple welcomed on April 18, 2022.
Ronaldo seemingly had a huge bouquet of roses delivered to Rodriguez in the Maldives.
The 38-year-old soccer pro is working on his fitness back in Saudi Arabia.
Ronaldo is caught up in a race against time to put himself in contention for a reunion with his eternal rival, Argentinian soccer pro-Lionel Messi, on February 1 as Al-Nassr prepares to face Major League Soccer's Inter Miami.
