Amidst the opulent pre-wedding festivities for Anant Ambani, the youngest scion of billionaire Mukesh Ambani, all attention turns to Radhika Merchant, the soon-to-be bride and accomplished businesswoman, Forbes reported.

Hailing from a family of pharmaceutical magnates, Radhika is the daughter of Viren and Shaila Merchant, founders of the global pharmaceutical manufacturer Encore Healthcare.

Graduating from New York University in 2017 with a bachelor's degree in political science, Radhika, 29, gained diverse experiences during her academic journey. Her internships ranged from a business strategy consultant at Cedar Consultants in Mumbai to contributing her skills at the luxury real estate firm Isprava.

Currently, Radhika Merchant is actively involved in Encore Healthcare, serving on the board of directors alongside her sister Anjali. The family dynamic positions her father as the CEO and vice-chair, while her mother holds the role of managing director.

Beyond her business acumen, Radhika is a trained classical dancer, having dedicated eight years to Bharatanatyam at the Shree Nibha Arts Dance Academy in Mumbai, completing her formal training in 2022.

Radhika and Anant Ambani, reportedly childhood sweethearts, formalised their engagement in January 2023, leading to their upcoming wedding scheduled for July 12.

As Mukesh Ambani, Asia's wealthiest individual with an estimated net worth of $113.8 billion, prepares to welcome Radhika into the family, the extravagant pre-wedding celebrations have drawn global attention, with luminaries such as Bill Gates and Mark Zuckerberg gracing the occasion.
