Football legend and former Madrid player Cristiano Ronaldo wished his former club Real Madrid on the occasion of the club's 122nd anniversary.

Ronaldo took to social media to congratulate the club on its 122nd anniversary.

"Congratulations on these 122 years of history, Madridista family! Hala Madrid,” Ronaldo wrote on X, formerly Twitter.

After a 90 million euro move from Manchester United, Ronaldo joined Real Madrid in 2009 and represented them for over nine years, creating unmatched history.

In his nine-year stint at Real Madrid, Ronaldo played 438 matches while netting 450 goals, a record in the club’s history, and provided 128 assists, the second most.

The club lifted four Champions League, three UEFA Super Cups, three FIFA Club World Cups, two La Liga, two Copa del Rey, and two Spanish Super Cups before Ronaldo's farewell to the club in 2018.

Real Madrid was founded on March 6, 1902, and then went on to statistically become the best club in the world and were also awarded the Club of the Century award for their unmatched success in the last century.
