Exhibition ‘Lifelike Similes’ to start from Dec 15
ISLAMABAD: An exhibition of paintings titled "Lifelike Similes" by Aqeel Javaid (Teetu) and Kamran Ahmed will be kicked off at Gallery 6 on December 15 (Saturday).

The exhibition will showcase variety of paintings during the exhibitions following the unique themes and ideas.

Aqeel Javaid is a Rawalpindi-based artist, who did Masters in Fine Arts from the Punjab University, Lahore, in 2006.

He has held three solo exhibitions and participated in nine group shows in Lahore. Besides painting, he has also taken part in photographic exhibitions since 2003.

Kamran Ahmed graduated from Karachi School of Arts in 1996.

He has also participated in nine group shows in Karachi and Dubai and then spent several years abroad in animation industry. He has made his return to paintings by holding a solo show in Karachi in 2009.

Both the artists are realistic painters and create quality artworks that draw instant attention. This is their first exhibition in Islamabad.

Ambassador of Greece, Petros Mavroidis will inaugurate the exhibition and it will continue till December 23 including Sundays. (APP)
