Joe Biden, the President of the United States, is in a worse situation against his popular election opponent than almost any other officeholder in the past 75 years of the country's history, as per a new analysis by Harry Enten reported on CNN.

As the 2024 US Presidential Elections inch closer, Joe Biden and Donald Trump are set to contest each other. Their face-off is also the first presidential rematch since 1956. Moreover, it is also the first rematch between a current and a former president since 1892.

Biden is countering an unlikely road this time as juxtaposed to 2020, when he defeated Donald Trump. He is believed to have no better than a 50-50 shot for reelection.

On the other hand, Donald Trump has a better chance of reclaiming his position in the White House.

Surveys from The New York Times/Siena College, CBS News/YouGov, Fox News, and The Wall Street Journal all presented Trump with a higher percentage of the vote than Biden.

The vote margin difference ranged from 2 to 4 points. When these margins were put together, they did not come out to be in favour of Biden, according to CNN.

In addition, the state of polling also looks unfavourable for Biden as polls showed Trump ahead.
