ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Police have arrested 14 outlaws including three female drug pushers and recovered a total of 8.19 kilogram hashish, weapons, 527 wine bottles and looted items from their possession, a police spokesman said on Thursday.

Following the directions of SP (Saddar) Sajid Kiani, special patrolling teams were constituted under supervision of SHO Fazal ur Rehman including Sub-Inspectors Muhammad Idrees, Muhammad Ajmal, Muhammad Aslam and others. These police teams succeeded to arrest three female drug pushers identified as Sumera Taj, Perveen Kausar, Khalida Perveen and recovered 6.450 kilogram hashish from them. ASI Asghar Li arrested Anwar Shah in possession of one 30 bore pistol.

Meanwhile, a special team of Crime Investigation Agency of Islamabad police headed by DSP Zubair Sheikh including ASI Javed Iqbal and others stopped a car (RJ-645) during routine patrolling and arrested two car occupants Zahid Mehmud, Malik Waqar Ahmed besides recovering 449 bottles from the car.

ASI Nadeem Tahir from Kohsar police arrested Safeer when he was trying to flee after theft in a house while ASI Khuram Aslam from Secretariat police nabbed David Masih for having 20 cans of beer.

Sub-Inspector Shaukat Ali from Bhara Kau police arrested a drug pusher Yasir Mehmud for possessing 400 gram hashish. On a tip off, Sub-Inspectors Abdul Sattar Beg, Abdul Sattar, ASI Ishtiaq Hussain from Margallah police station arrested Sajid Masih, Muneer Iqbal Masih, Faraz Akbar besides recovering a total of 58 wine bottles and 300 gram hashish.

Sub-Inspector Habib ur Rehman from Shehzad town police arrested Imtaiz Khan for possessing 1040 gram hashish while Sub-Inspector Hanif recovered 30 bore pistol from an accused Imtiaz Khan.

Cases have been registered against these nabbed persons and further investigation is underway from them.
