Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg recently became the talk of the town once again after an altered image of the tech mogul with a beard had people swooning over him all over the internet, People reported.

Earlier this week, Zuckerberg, 39, posted a video of himself on his Instagram, announcing a "new version of Meta AI."

Mike Rundle, whose username on X, formerly known as Twitter, is @flyosity, edited a beard and mustache to a screengrab of Zuckerberg smirking slightly and shared it on social media.

Rundle’s original post garnered more than 2 million views, and a side-by-side of Zuckerberg beardless with the altered pic captioned "it’s crazy how much a beard can change a man's life" racked in over 22 million views.

Eventually, The Shade Room reposted the image on Instagram and asked, "Y’all think he needs to go ahead and grow that beard out?"

"Okay who did this?” the Meta CEO commented on the post.

When people learned that the photo was not real, Zuckerberg's original video received comments like, "THE BEARD WAS FAKE??" and "Not me getting catfished."

Some encouraged him to make it a reality.

"Bro, grow your beard," one user wrote, while another added, "Zuckerberg just went from AI to Ayy."

Zuckerberg might be considering recommendations as in a now-expired Instagram Stories post the billionaire shared a photo of a razor alongside a thinking face emoji.

Addressing the change of heart, Rundle said, "Love that Zuck went from wondering who made the beard edit to contemplating not shaving anymore in just a few hours. It’s happening!"

Even Zuckerberg’s wife, Priscilla Chan, shared the bearded photo on her own Instagram Stories and joked, “Anyone seen my husband??? And who is this guy?"
