Ligue 1's Paris Saint-Germain is eyeing Barcelona's wonderkid Lamine Yamal as a potential replacement for Kylian Mbappe who is likely to land a deal with Real Madrid this summer, Goal reported.

The French club is reportedly preparing a blockbuster £172 million offer for the Spanish sensation, according to Le Parisien, as they are in search for a quality attacker as their French talisman Mbappe's replacement.

Mbappe, 25, has long expressed interest in Cristiano Ronaldo's former club which many expect him to join as he becomes a free agent in June after his contract with PSG expires.

Reports also suggest that the French club's sporting director Luis Campos shares an excellent relationship with Jamal's manager and super agent Jorge Mendes, which may help the PSG in their attempts to land the talented teenager.

Barca's Yamal, 16, became the youngest player to grab an assist in the Champions League quarter-finals between Barcelona and PSG.

Meanwhile, Enrique's side is set to take on Lorient in Ligue 1 away from home on Wednesday.

If PSG manage to pick up a win and Monaco drop points against Lille, they will be crowned French league champions once again.
